holler is a small business based in New Orleans, Louisiana. We build websites for small local businesses. This explains what we collect, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it.

The short version
We collect what we need to build your website and talk to you about it. We do not sell it. We do not share it for anyone’s marketing, including our own partners. There are no ad trackers on our site or yours.
What we collect
When you text us
- your mobile phone number
- the contents of your messages to us
- any photos or files you send us
When you become a customer
- your business name, address, service area, hours, and phone number
- your Instagram handle, and the public content on that account
- payment information, which is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
When you visit builtbyholler.com
- basic, aggregate traffic counts. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, no cross-site profiling.
What we do with it
- reply to you
- build, launch, and maintain your website
- send you a link when your site is ready, and handle changes you ask for afterward
- take payment for the build and the monthly hosting
That is the entire list. We do not use your information to advertise to you, and we do not use it to advertise to anyone else.
What we never do
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No information collected through our text messaging program will be shared, sold, rented, or otherwise passed to third parties for their own use.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not buy phone number lists, and we never text anyone who has not texted us first.
Who we do share it with
Only the services required to actually run this, and only the minimum each one needs:

These are processors acting on our instructions. None of them receive your information for their own marketing.
We will also disclose information if the law requires it.
Photos and content you send us
Photos you text us are used to build your website and nothing else. By sending them you are telling us you have the right to use them. We keep the ones your site uses, and working files we no longer need are deleted.
How long we keep things
- Messages and phone numbers: while you are a customer, and for a reasonable period after, so we can answer questions about work we did.
- Photos and site files: while your site is live.
- Payment records: as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Ask us to delete your information and we will, except where we are legally required to keep it.
Your choices
Stop the texts: reply STOP at any time. Immediate and automatic.
Get help: reply HELP, or text (504) 276-7624.
See, correct, or delete what we hold: just ask. Text or email us.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal information. Ask and we will honor them.
Security
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections, and keep access limited to what is needed to do the work. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Children
holler is a service for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post it here with a new effective date. Material changes we will tell you about directly.
